Staying healthy is more important than ever now that you’re pregnant. There are many resources, right here in Natrona County to help you stay healthy.

Classes available for you to learn what to expect and what to do during your pregnancy and delivery. We want you to have every opportunity to learn what’s best for you and your baby. Right from the start.

The Casper-Natrona County Maternal & Child Health Department offers free quarterly classes that focus on infant care and feeding as well as postpartum care.  Through this class, you will receive FREE certification in CPR.   You can sign up for the upcoming session here or by calling 307-577-9778.

 

Wyoming Medical Center also provides these classes that you can register for by calling 307-577-2378:

  • Preparing for Childbirth Classes are designed to help you feel positive and well-informed about this special time in your life. Topics include the physical aspects of labor, birthing process techniques and pain control options. Plan to begin this class 6 to 8 weeks before your due date. Class sizes are limited, and registration before your sixth month is encouraged.
  • Infant Care Classes are available for both first-time mothers or expectant mothers who need a refresher. This once-monthly class provides information basic infant care.
  • Breast Feeding Classes are held once a month and are for any expectant mother.
